Week 13 (2020/21)
We have had a very busy couple of weeks as you can see from the photos!
We have even managed to run forest school this week! The children loved it, at the end of each session they had a hot chocolate and biscuit to warm themselves up. We are hoping for one more session this week before we break up for Christmas.
Christmas has arrived finally and the children have been busy making decorations for their Christmas trees at home and cooking lots of yummy food, we made jam tarts and sausage rolls this week. We have also had our Christmas tree out each session for the children to decorate which they all enjoy doing. We are currently making Christmas cards for the children to take home this week to their families too. The children are getting very excited and telling us about the elf activities at home each night if they have an Elf on the Shelf.
The children have enjoyed practicing their Christmas songs, we hope we are able to record them after their party singing so we can share a video on here for all parents to see. The Christmas singing has sparked an interest in a lot of children, and they love to sing along karaoke style with microphones when we play music during session. We have some very talented singers and dancers!
We are celebrating Christmas Jumper Day on Friday 11th December, we hope that all children and staff will be wearing their jumpers for the day so we can share the photos on here with next week’s update.
