Week 11 (2020/21)

Updated: Nov 25, 2020

We have had another busy week, as you can see the children have taken part in a variety of activities!

We found a lot of leaves had blown into our garden, so we swept them into: a corner, various containers and spades nearby. The children enjoyed playing in the leaves and scooping them up with the spades and their own hands, they then decided to make soup and pies out of the leaves in the mud kitchen. It was lovely to see the children using their imaginations with natural resources.

We took part in Remembrance Day on Wednesday by creating and decorating a large poppy and some of our older children took part in a 2-minute silence. We also celebrated Diwali by making candles from paper plates and coloured paper.

The children enjoyed baking this week, they made chocolate chip muffins on Thursday and made Pudsy Bear Children in Need biscuits on Friday. There is more baking and fun with food planned for next week.
